My Review of Female Facets by Julie Anne Rudd

My Review of Female Facets

Celebrating Womanhood

Female Facets Poems Celebrating Womanhood is a lovely book of poems with different themes, of womanly moments, love, and family. I enjoyed reading this book a few poems a night. I found some of the poems made me giggle even if they were quite truthful in many ways. On page 4 Bosom Buddies, a great poem with some funny lines.

Some of my favorite poems in this book are Tickled Pink because it’s a nice poem that in some way feels relatable to me when I read it. Superman is another lovely poem about a son that would do his best to help and solve problems made me smile.

Thanks, Be To Mum is another beautiful poem, my favorite line is ‘Someone I can rely on’ I think that is true for most mums and made me grateful for the mum I have.

Julie Anne Rudd does a great job at mixing real life into her poems in a fun and touching way. Also, Julie brings out a lot of emotion in her poems and each one tells a mini-story.

I was blessed to get a nice signed copy of this book and would highly recommend this poem book to anyone who likes poems that will make you laugh, feel emotional, and like poems about life, love, and some womanly challenges.
